On May 18, 2014, I decided to launch a blog called YBAX to begin practicing my writing skills.

That’s right, 17-year-old me was thinking that far ahead of becoming a journalist that I put myself to work that early.

Just looking at this website feels like a blast from the past!

Despite being an amateur teen blogger trying to prepare myself for the future, I managed to successfully build a small but active following.

Some articles would even attract thousands of page views.

I’m including the link to the blog not to reflect my current work – I have come ever so far since – but just to show how passionate I have been about this industry for most of my life.

The stories range from general video game news, opinion pieces, reviews.

I have covered local issues, politics, breaking news, crime and entertainment within London and Watford.

It has involved reporting on the untold and highlighting wrongdoings, balancing multiple major stories at the same time and keeping up with an extremely fast-paced news environment.

My interests in writing tend to revolve around breaking news, crime, politics, in-depth features, entertainment, technology and video games.
