Personal information of more than 3,500 tenants leaked by housing association

Personal details – including addresses, contact details, gender and sexual orientation – of thousands of tenants were leaked in an email.

The blunder was made by Watford Community Housing Trust when it sent out an email during the night of March 23 to all tenants to inform them of changes to services during the coronavirus outbreak.

This was the first breaking story which kick-started a series of stories on this incident.
