‘I went out on the streets with police in Kilburn – this is what I saw’

As a reporter I’ve spent years covering major incidents in London – but as part of a series of reports on gun and knife crime I joined police on the streets in Kilburn to see what they do to keep the area safe.

It’s not my first time I’ve seen officers at work, but driving down Kilburn High Road, it really dawned on me just how much they do.

In just one day I saw two arrests, officers dealing with multiple incidents and even sat in on a call for a suspected gun sighting.
